The Yucatan Peninsula is one of the more touristic places of Mexico with a lot of great things to offer. Although most of the tourists are there for the beach and the parties, there is a lot of nice nature to discover as well. In the south there is the Calakmul Biosphere Reserve, known for great nature and Maya ruïns. In the north there is the island Holbox which is an amazing place. I’m sure there is much more to discover.
